About Us

The Samoosa business was founded by Razia’s, Aunt Zubeda and her Mum Mrs. Ayesha Russool. They started the small business at home in Chatsworth in 1985 making and selling Fried and Unfried Samoosa from their garage to neighbours and tuck shops in and around the Chatsworth Area. Aunty Zubeda and Razia’s Mum operated the business for 20 years. In 2005 Aunty Zubeda offered the business to Razia as the family could not cope with the growing demand for their delicious Samoosas. Razia took over the Business and ran it from the same premises until 2007.
